The Dubai criminal court sentenced a man and a woman of Bangladeshi nationality to 10 years of imprisonment followed by deportation after finding them guilty of human trafficking.
Exploiting the poverty of two girls, the convicts with the help of another fugitive brought the duo to the UAE after promising them work as housemaid, reports Arabic daily Al Ittihad . The young girls were instead forced into prostitution.
