Muslims around the world are getting ready for the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, and requires that the faithful fast from dawn to dusk. Muslims in India, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries around the region will all begin Ramadan at different times, depending on the sighting of the new moon.
