Over 200 Ugandan girls were recruited and tricked by a government recruitment agency called Uganda Veterans Development Association (UVDA) ltd.
The girls were tricked that they would work as maids in the US army bases in Iraq but on arrival in Baghdad international airport they were sold to the Iraqis at $3500 per each. These girls were then distributed in countries such as Jordan, Syria, Pakistan and Afghanistan where they believe to have worked for Terrorists as sex slaves .
The 12 out of more than 200 who were sold managed to escape and were rescued by the Americans/British, narrated how they were exploited as some of them were forced into butcher operations for kidney transplantation as some of them came back without kidneys and others pregnant. There are some of the girls believed to have died on course of escape and some who are still hostages under possession of the wrong people but one remains wondering why the Ugandan Government failed to assist the girls with justice when they tried look for it after coming back from being hostages and exploitation.
Regardless of that the Ugandan Government has the mandate of verifying all the external contracts to see if the Ugandans shipped to work as TCNs are protected under national & international labour laws and if the Ugandan Government verified that contract let the world know what type people hired the 200 girls and where are the remaining girls ?. The patron of the Uganda Veterans under the reserve force is Gen.Salim Saleh Akandwanaho Caleb, the young brother of President Museveni .
The last paragraph says it all ?? your kidding me right ?? this upset me a lot and proves there are many high ranking people behind this trade in these countries
