Lifestyle-Domestic Workers




Domestic workers -- whether casual or otherwise, they are mostly the women who come to your house maybe once or twice a week. They do the dishes, they clean your house, they wash your clothes and sometimes they may be tasked with cooking your food. And on every occasion, you negotiate with them. Question is -- how much is enough to pay them? Sally Mbilu speaks to one such woman and while her story borders on how many domestic workers are paid, it sheds light to rising cases of domestic workers not receiving their rightful dues
